The forests in Tirumala are highly revered and need special attention in order to maintain the ecological balance.
T.T.D has introduced a series of schemes which provides a rare opportunity of mass participation in the massive plantation program by the T.T.D forest department.
- VRIKSHA SAMVARDHANAM
- Donation : Rs 25,000/-
- 500 plants will be planted on the sacred seven hills
- Plants will be maintained for five years
- Plantation can be named after the donor
- 100 % Income tax exemption
- VRIKSHA PRASADAM
- Donation : Rs 15,000/-
- Distribution of 100 seedlings (Fruit bearing & flowering) every year for ten years
- 100 % Income tax exemption
- SMARAKA VANALU
- Donation : Rs 5,000/-
- 10 saplings of selected species will be planted in a grove at Tirumala
- Plants will be maintained for five years
- The Grove can be named after the donor
- 100 % Income tax exemption
- VANA SAMRAKSHANA BHAGASWAMYAM
- Donation : Rs 2,000/-
- Will be used to improve and protect forest cover at Tirumala
- 100 % Income tax exemption
In addition to the mentioned schemes, Donors can contribute any amount, which will be utilized in the T.T.D afforestation program.
