Thalayeru Gundu Alipiri Steps Tirumala, Is the first large rock seen on the footpath to Tirumala. It is called Thalayeru Gundu. There is an Idol of Sri Anjaneya Swamy here in Anjali Pose. The devotees believe that they will be relieved from leg-pain if their legs touch the rock. The devotees can see the imprints made due to such contact.

Pilgrims can find this while climbing hills from Alipiri Path.
