Sri Kalahasti Rahu Ketu Parihara Sthalam

Temple is dedicated to Lord Siva and is one of the Pancha Bhootha Sthalam. Lord Siva here represents Air. Temple is famous for Rahu Ketu Pooja. All pooja materials will be provided by the temple itself. No need to carry any other pooja materials for this Pooja.  After Pooja devotees are allowed to have Gnana Prasunambika and Kalahastheeswara Darshan inside the temple. One should fast till they complete this Pooja. Online booking is not available. It is on arrival purchase over the counter for the same day Pooja.

Pooja will be performed in batches from 6 am –  6 pm.

Thirupampuram Temple

Temple is dedicated to Lord Siva. Rahu Ketu Parihara Pooja will be performed here for 2 hours. Homam will be performed during Rahu Kala Timings. Online booking is not available for this Pooja ticket. Temple is located near to Kumbakonam and is easily reachable from Kumbakonam.  Pooja can be performed as a single or couple. After Pooja, one should not visit any other temples. Pooja is not advisable for Pregnant women and durinig periods.

Mopidevi Temple

Mopidevi temple is dedicated to Lord Subramanya Swamy. Rahu Ketu pooja will be performed daily here from 7 am – 12 pm in batches. Online booking is not available here, it is on arrival purchase over the counter for the same day pooja. One should reach Mopidevi a day in advance and sleep on the floors in the temple premises for the night. Next day morning after fresh up, perform Rahu Ketu pooja followed by Rudrabhishekam. After this pooja, one should not visit any other temples. Pooja will be performed for 45 mins followed by Abhishekam to the deity.

    Hello sir am having raghu kedhu dhosam my DOB is 28-12-87. Rahu in 2 ND house kedhu in 8 th house. My marriage is getting delayed and my job tooo .On September only I made raghu kedhu pariharam in kalahasti. Pls lets me know the remedy for this

      HI sir,

      Please perform the pooja with the proper guidance sir then you will get the good results, please find the proper procedure below:

      Procedure to be followed for Rahu Ketu Pooja

      1) A day before pooja, one should sleep on floor
      2) Next day morning after taking bath, reach Temple and do Abhishekam with Milk to the Idols at Rudra Padam ( which is 100 ft from Pathala Ganapathi Temple) and do 3 Pradakshinam to the Idols.
      3) After Abhishekam, please perform Rahu Ketu Kala Sarpa Dosha Pooja
      4) After pooja, please donate 2 -3 meal packets to the poor.
      5) Now you are good to leave home.

      No need to change clothes. Not required to sleep on floor. You can do one thing, after arriving at Kalahathi, try to perfrom abhishekam to the Idol at Rudra padam with 1-2 liters of milk. Just sprinkle milk on the idols which is not reachable to you.

      Why I’m suggesting Rudra Padam is , right from the beginning of this temple , Rahu Ketu pooja to be conducted here so these idols holds actual power.
      As crowd is increasing so they moved Rahu Ketu pooja process inside Halls. So it is advisable to perform abhishekam and do 3 pradakshinam.

      After this you are can purchase ticket from the counter and perform pooja. After pooja, try to donate 2 -3 meal packets to the poor. With this you will get complete benefit from the pooja.

    I’m kumari Vaishnavi Kadam my DoB 24/10/93. Birthtime-8.13AM Birthplace -Nanded (M. S) I got depressed in my mind,i m B. Tech I want to do job but, what can I do. Pl suggest me for any rahu/ketu abhisekam /kalsarp you puja kindly suggest me, Guru.

    sir, i am lokchander DOB 26TH Sep;1972 mesha rasi, bharani natchtram with sima lagnam. i am married, not getting stable job now too for last 5 years with no job suffering very very badly. family seperated. suggest any parihara pooja to be with peace of mind and financially independent with good job. and join or get back the family.
